The K. Hendrix Project Runway Challenge

Make it RAINN: Hat Party and Fashion Event

Last Wednesday we had a fantastic time at The Grape for the "Make it RAINN" Hat Party and Silent Auction hosted by the House of Donshey. Not only did we get to bid on some amazing auction items, and had fun dressing to impress in fabulous head pieces, but there was a live musical performance by Corrine Bach, inspring poetry read by author R. Mona Leza, and a fashion show featuring non other than K. Hendrix!

All the Donations from the evening went to RAINN, the Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network, which is the nations largest anti-sexual assault organization.  Be sure to visit Rainn.org for more information about this very important cause and to raise awareness.

Tampa Bay Fashion Week

So the big event that we've been waiting for is almost here!

Studio Renovations & Grand Opening Party Coming Soon

It is nearly complete, but K.Hendrix studio is simply awesome so far! Much like her clothes, the space is vintage themed with many inspirational aspects.

The Showroom will be open to the public soon where you can buy one of a kind pieces by K.Hendrix.
There will be a fabulous grand opening party in mid August- specific date and time TBA!

New Fabulous Intern & Guest Blogger!

Yes, Yes, I know...We are the worst at updating this blog with our busy schedule. But, we found a solution. We have a fabulous new intern here at k.hendrix and she is a fashion writer in the making, so she will be our guest blogger for the time she is with us. Here is more about Angelique, and the cutest photo, I love her already!

Angelique Cherie is the new fabulous intern at k.hendrix. Beginning as a young writer with a lifelong passion for art, culture, and lifestyle, she discovered in high school her love for fashion after serving as an editor for a literary magazine. Being an avid fashion blog reader, she started a fashion column that ran in print in her local school newspaper. Born and raised a Florida girl, Angelique practically lives at the beach, loves shopping, and enjoys a delicious slice of cheese pizza every once in a while :)

Kimberly has begun working with recycled leathers, hand dying them in fabulous metallics like pewter, copper and bronze, and is also adding knits to the fall line in the perfect k.hendrix fashion; hand shredded and over-dyed with reclaimed beaded accents. This ready to wear collection has everything the hip, stylish and confident k.hendrix "couture" woman has come to expect. Continuing her philosophy of using only reclaimed or recycled materials, this rtw collection is still perfectly imperfect and one-of-a-kind, the way Kimberly has always wanted it to be...
